River Market Flea is back! Starting Saturday, Jan. 4, you’re invited to explore a unique collection of vintage treasures every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through February 22.

River Market Flea will transform our Farmers Market pavilion into a vintage haven where you can browse an eclectic mix of retro and vintage clothing from the 1960s to the early 2000s, along with accessories and one-of-a-kind items. Curated by local apparel experts—including the same team that has outfitted Taylor Swift in KC Chiefs attire—River Market Flea delivers a fresh, exciting experience each week.

What to Expect:

• A rotating lineup of River Market Flea vintage vendors offering something new every Saturday.
• Winter shopping in the comfort of City Market’s lightly heated pavilions.
• Farmers Market vendors selling gourmet mushrooms, microgreens, pork rinds, distilled spirits, CBD products, pet treats, and much more.
• Free parking: Two-hour parking is available in City Market Square along the Farmers Market pavilions; enter at 3rd or 5th & Walnut, or unlimited free parking at 7th & Main, just a short walk or a one-stop free ride on the KC Streetcar.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of City Market while you explore delightful vintage finds in
Pavilion 1 and enjoy fresh local products from Farmers Market vendors in Pavilion 3. Don’t forget to visit City Market’s year-round shops and restaurants for even more unique offerings and international flavors.

COATS & KINDNESS WARM-UP DRIVE AT MERRY MARKET 

SUNDAY, DEC. 15, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The spirit of giving will take center stage this holiday season as River Market Flea hosts the Coats & Kindness Warm-Up Drive during Merry Market on Sunday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This heartwarming event invites the community to drop off new or gently used winter coats to help families and individuals in need. Donations will be distributed to local charitable organizations, ensuring warmth and comfort for our neighbors during the cold months ahead.

“Coats & Kindness is about more than donating coats—it’s about fostering a sense of community and support,” said Danni Vejar, representative for River Market Flea. “We’re excited to host this event at Merry Market, where locals come together to celebrate the season and make a positive impact.”

In addition to the coat drive, visitors can enjoy the vibrant Merry Market, featuring:

• More than 75 local artisans and vendors curated by Art Garden KC, offering handcrafted holiday gifts.
• Festive bites and seasonal drinks.
• Live entertainment to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

Admission is FREE, and all ages are welcome!

All donations collected during Coats & Kindness will benefit reStart Inc., a local nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness and supporting individuals and families in need.
