Our Story
HyperKC began on September 1, 2017, when founder David L. launched the brand with a small table at First Friday in Kansas City’s Crossroads Arts District. The brand debuted with three original t-shirt designs and sold more than $1,000 in merchandise that evening, marking the start of the HyperKC apparel line.
After the initial launch, the brand expanded into retail with a holiday pop-up shop later that year. The company then opened its current City Market storefront on March 1, 2018, creating a permanent space where customers could shop locally designed apparel and support Kansas City artists.
Kansas City Graphic Tees
HyperKC is best known for its Kansas City graphic t-shirts, featuring designs created in collaboration with local artists. The designs highlight elements of the city’s culture, neighborhoods, and visual identity.
Collections include themes such as Kansas City skyline designs, retro-inspired graphics, city pride apparel, sports-themed shirts, and food-and-drink inspired designs. These shirts are printed locally and sold directly from the City Market retail shop.
