All local. All year. City Market is the place to be.
Fridays, 12pm — 12:45pm
Every Friday at high noon, you are invited to sit down with Downtown chefs, bartenders, retailers and artists over lunch via the Downtown Dish.
The Downtown Council, Downtown Neighborhood Association, KC Streetcar, Lynchpin Ideas, and the districts of Downtown are presenting the weekly 45-minute online chat filled with fun, info and food! The Dish will highlight what’s happening in the restaurant, bar, and neighborhood scenes along the KC Streetcar route (including Crossroads, Power & Light, Central Business District, City Market, River Market and Union Station).
The Dish will begin serving on Friday, May 15 – the first day restaurants may open their doors under the Mayor’s guidelines. Hosted by downtown devotee and food fanatic Katy Schamberger, the Downtown Dish will point you to what ‘s happening each week while highlight different neighborhoods/districts and the establishments that make Downtown… well, downtown.
Registration is free and open on Eventbrite. Each Downtown Dish episode will be recorded and posted on the Downtown Council website after it airs, alongside a blog post with additional helpful Downtown info. Each episode will close with a Q&A from the audience, so get your questions ready!
Your Downtown Dish invitation is waiting for you.
