GOONIES: CID Movie Nights in City Market Park 

Tuesday, July 13,  Food trucks & live music at 7:30 p.m. Movie starts at 9:00 p.m.

Friends of City Market* and Downtown KC invite you to join CID Movie Nights  under the stars for a FREE screening of Steven Spielberg’s GOONIES on Tuesday, July 13 in City Market Park at 3rd & Main.  

Make an evening out of it. Bring chairs and blankets. Food trucks will be available. Live music pre-show starts at 7:30 p.m. Movie rolls at 9:00 p.m. KC Streetcar and parking are FREE.

(Rainout date is Thursday, July 15.)

Missouri Wines Sampling Series presented by Friends of the City Market 

Friends of the City Market and Missouri Wines have partnered to showcase Missouri wine country during our Missouri Wine Sampling Series.

Wine in Missouri is unique, and this is a fantastic opportunity to learn about local growers and varieties, taste award-winning wines, discover and new favorites, and purchase bottled wine directly from the producer.

Summer Book Sale Benefits KC Public Library 

Friends of the Library offers used books for sale at the City Market on the first Saturday of every month through October, 9am – 2pm in the north atrium walkway on the east side of the Market (facing the Paddle Wheel, just inside the double doors to the left).

Stop by and browse a variety of titles, hardbacks, paperbacks, and other media all at fantastic prices:

Special Items and collectibles are priced individually.

All sales are cash only. An ATM is located in City Market’s 5th Street Lobby.
All proceeds benefit Friends of the Kansas City Missouri Public Library.

Covid-19 Vaccination Clinic 

Saturday, June 26, 9:00 a.m. – 2 p.m.

City Market and the KCMO Health Department are partnering to present a FREE COVID-19 VACCINE clinic this Saturday, June 26 from 9am-3pm. Look for the KCMO Mobile Vaccine Unit in front of the Steamboat Arabia Museum.

Anyone at least 12 years old from either side of State Line is eligible to receive the vaccine (Pfizer). Second doses will be scheduled with the KCMO Health Department.

 

A limited supply of Moderna and Johnson & Johnson brand vaccines will be available. If you are due for a second dose of Pfizer or Moderna, please bring your vaccination card for eligibility.
